About SG Refurb
SG Refurb is a building and fit-out firm based in Godstone, at the foot of the North Downs in Surrey. We have been trading since 2005, and the work splits two ways: commercial fit-out for national pub, bar and hospitality operators, and refurbishment, extension and roofing work on homes across Surrey and the South East.
Our own settled team does the building work, and the specialists we bring in for trades like electrics and roofing are managed by us — so the people who quote your job are the people who see it through, and one firm stays answerable from first survey to final handover.
Who we are
Godstone is a historic village on the A25, with a green and a pond at the foot of the North Downs, and the housing reflects it: solid Victorian and Edwardian properties with high ceilings and generous hallways, sitting alongside post-war and newer stock. We have spent two decades working on every type, so we know how these houses are put together and where the surprises tend to hide once the plaster comes off.
Caterham was our home for years, and we still work right across it. From our base at 27 High Street, Godstone, RH9 8LS, we work for homeowners and commercial clients right across the South East. On a fit-out we go where the estate is — north London, Essex, Kent, Sussex and out to the coast. The jobs run from a single re-fitted room to a full extension, or a pub stripped out and put back into trade.

What sets us apart is the make-up of the firm. Our own settled team does the building work — brickwork, carpentry, plastering, groundworks and the fitting of kitchens and bathrooms — rather than booking in whoever is free that week. For electrics, roofing, decorating and fencing we bring in trusted specialists we have worked with for years, all managed by us. That keeps the programme tight, and it means one firm stays answerable for the whole job rather than a rotating cast you are passed between.
