Period and rural roofs below the Downs
The larger detached and rural properties out towards the Downs bring the roofs that need most thought.

Access is the variable: narrow frontages and shared boundaries mean scaffold has to be planned rather than assumed. Q.02My roof is large and has several pitches. How is that priced?

It usually points at a detail rather than the covering — a flashing, a verge or a valley that is sound in ordinary rain and not in wind-driven rain. It takes a proper survey rather than a look from the ground, which is what we do before quoting.
