Rear, side-return, wraparound and two-storey. We take it from the drawings and building control through to the finished room — groundworks, structure, roof, openings, then the inside. On an older Surrey house the surprises are underground and in the existing structure, so the survey happens before the price, not after it.

Extension costs in Surrey vary with size, type (single or two storey), specification and groundworks.

Q.02Do you handle the whole extension yourselves or use subcontractors?

SG's own team handles the building work — roofing, carpentry and joinery, plastering and the fitting of kitchens and bathrooms — and we bring in approved subcontractors we have worked with for years for trades like electrics and plumbing, all managed by us.
